Licorice two week update

Not much to update on Licorice.
She came to us so well adjusted and happy, but here we go…….

Housetraining –  Perfect !! Very reliable

Crate- Licorice crates easily and rests comfortably in the crate. She has even “put herself to bed” at night.

Leash- Doing great. No pulling and she listens well. She does still like to put her nose to the ground and then start to wander... but then………. She is a dog, right?

Food/Eating- Licorice loves to run to her crate at meal time, and eats quickly. Loves treats and loves to chew on “bones” and Kongs with peanut butter. Yum 

Socialization- Licorice met my 18 mo old grandson, my kids, my husband's band mates and the neighbors. Everyone is her best friend. No issues here. She also seems to do well with all dogs, but we haven’t met very many.

Personality – Happy, friendly, and busy, she is just a joy to have around the house. Loves pets, but can also entertain herself.

  

I’m not sure how a dog like this gets into a shelter in the first place, but she is completely ready to settle into her own forever home. Won’t you apply today ?
