Triscuit three week update

Has it been three weeks already? Things have settled into a nice routine around the Einy house. Triscuit is doing great. There isn’t much to report. We are just staying the course while we wait for Triscuit’s forever family to find her.

Triscuit had her spay surgery on Thursday. She was a little sore, and was feeling a little sorry for herself in the beginning, but now she is doing much better. Another day or two and she and Charlie, her foster brother, will be out “wrasslin” in the yard again.
Still no potty accidents.
Still likes her crate.
Still walks great on the leash.

Come and get her, she is ready for her FURever family

Triscuit's crate

I like my crate.

I am a not feeling so good.
I had my spay sugery and my tummy hurts.

Triscuit goes to a "Cruise In"

Ok. Ok. So the photography is not the best.
Too many shadows and not exactly centered.

But.... Isn't she CUTE in her little red harness ?

(The cars are pretty cool too.)

Triscuit two week update

Triscuit will be with us two weeks on Tuesday 8/4/15. Here are some updates.

Housetrained – She pottied in the house once her first day, but has been 100% accident free ever since. She will hover around the front door when she needs to go out.

Crate Trained – She will even go into her crate without a treat…. But I give her one anyway, cause she is such a good girl. She sleeps quietly all night, until I come to get her in the morning. She also spends several hours each day in the crate during the week while I’m at work without a problem. When I get home she is lying quietly, and will calmly wait for me to open the door.

Good with men

Good with women

Good with my 6 month old grandson - Not yet tested on other kids. She spent her time with the baby licking his toes and smelling him gently.

Good with other dogs – At first, all she wanted to do was “wrassle” her foster brother. She still loves to play, but is now also choosing to entertain herself with toys and chews.

Quite – Will only let out a few warning barks if something is amiss. We really don’t hear much out of her.

Loves car rides

Low shed - I have found some hair in the crate, but very little. It’s been much better since her grooming.

Good listener – will come to her name reliably, and will follow instructions

Knows “sit”

Good at the groomer – I was told she even did great while her toes were trimmed.

No more scavenging – In earlier posts it was mentioned that she jumped on the kitchen counter and liked the trash. I have not seen any such activities since the first day. She’s smart. She knows that her bowl will be filled with yummy food twice each day, and has decided that she doesn’t have to go looking for food around the house any longer.

Triscuit is a happy, loving girl and is going to make a GREAT family member !

Triscuit's nap

This pic is not the greatest. The room was dark and I needed a flash, but I just had to post it.

No, we are not stretching, we are sound asleep.

Silly girl. She is so much fun.
